What documents are needed for Chevrolet hire in Dubai?

Our Chevrolet rental Dubai service is available for both UAE residents and tourists. For UAE residents, the only documents we ask to submit are copies of the driver's passport, residential visa, Emirates ID, and valid UAE driving license.

For Tourists, the list of documents is slightly different. It includes a passport, visa with entry stamp, a valid home country driving license, and an international driving permit or international driving license. You can drive with your home country's license if you hold GCC, US, UK, or Canada passports and some other countries passports. Before you travel, make sure that your driving license is valid in the UAE and that you are eligible to rent a car in Dubai.

Is insurance necessary to rent a car in Dubai?

Yes, insurance that covers damage caused by a third party is mandatory for every car rental. However, if there was a car accident at your fault, the insurance will not cover it.

The deposit depends on the type of car. The deposit is blocked on your credit card and will be fully or partially refunded after 21 days of completing the rental agreement. The amount will depend on the paid fines, speed tickets, or other deductibles, including late car return, damages, exceeding mileage, and Salik. On request, you can settle the additional charges in cash if you do not wish to use your credit card.
